One of the biggest challenges in my spiritual and artistic life is writing icons of Our Lord Jesus Christ.I easily paint the face of the Child Jesus, but showing the face of Jesus Christ Pantocrator – the Ruler of the Universe is for me a search for the mystery of the first image of Jesus. Mandylion or The Veil of Manopello woven from linen is the prototype of all icons. An image not made by human hand.
